In case you’re not familiar with the game, based upon the 1997 Paul Verhoeven classic, Starship Troopers: Terran Command puts the player in charge of do-or-die Federation forces in a brutal war against the Arachnid aliens. These include nimble Stingers shooting superheated projectiles, airborne Pyroflies, and monstrous Immolators. The Arachnids, too, have evolved to spawn new units. Starship Troopers: Terran Command – Raising Hell features seven story-rich combat missions, alongside a series of new units, including the new Powered Suit Incinerators and Powered Suit Officers, the Mercenary and Vilon Station units, Frag Mercs, Engineering Bipeds and Shredder Mercs. Once more, the Mobile Infantry is sent, with the Federation’s hardiest fighters doing the dirty work, safeguarding humanity against the ever-menacing Bug threat. Unfortunately, the Arachnids have infested the planet, evolving new and dangerous strains amid the harsh volcanic conditions. With a controlling Federation presence high above the planet’s surface, the unforgiving planet known as Gehenna is a highly profitable resource-rich planet. While no release date has been announced as of yet, the expansion will feature new units, missions, and a completely new environment in the hellish landscape of Gehenna. Slitherine Software has announced that their Starship Troopers RTS Starship Troopers: Terran Command will be getting an expansion entitled Raising Hell later this Fall. Lollipop Chainsaw is back by Dragami Games. Thanks to Twinfinite for the additional info. Originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Lollipop Chainsaw (which just celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this week) centers on 18-year-old Juliet, whose town of San Romero has become overrun with a zombie outbreak. owning the rights to the game here in North America, but hopefully WB plays nice. No word on if Lollipop Chainsaw‘s co-director Goichi “Suda51” or James Gunn ( who referenced the game in last year’s The Suicide Squad) will be involved in the new project. Yasuda is now CEO of Dragami Games, which has taken over part of Kadokawa Games’ assets and staff. If you’re wondering how Dragami Games got involved with this, Yasuda used to be CEO of Kadokawa Games, which published Lollipop Chainsaw in Japan. While specifics weren’t revealed as to whether we’ll be getting a remaster or a sequel, Yasuda’s post yesterday (accompanied by an image of game protagonist Juliet Starling) tells fans to “look forward” to the series’ return. Per Dragami Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuda’s Twitter, it would appear that the developer has plans for bringing the series back. Fans of 2012’s Lollipop Chainsaw who have been waiting for a follow-up might just have gotten their wish.
